Reflexology is an amazing therapy which helps to re balance the body through applying gentle but firm pressure to certain parts of the feet which correspond to each body system.
The feet and hands are regarded as a map or a mirror of the person and their body.
Students are taken through the history and philosophy of this ancient therapy. Working with this gentle non-invasive holistic therapy, we will learn about the reflex zones and the related reflex areas as well as common disorders and ways in which to treat them. The feet and hands are regarded as a map or a mirror of the person and their body.
When we accumulate stress in our bodies, illness is more likely to occur. By treating the whole person with reflexology, Mind Body and Spirit, we can induce a deep state of relaxation and therefore facilitate the body’s own healing processes to flow.
Reflexology can be a wonderful way to de stress, relax and is regarded as a very positive step towards a healthier lifestyle. Research has shown Reflexology to be hugely effective to all age groups and for many ailments such as Reflux, Colic and Constipation in Babies , Infertility in men and women, Pregnancy Ailments such as Heartburn, SPD and Morning Sickness. Reflexology can be a fantastic option for people who have been diagnosed with Cancer, helping to relieve symptoms associated with Chemotherapy such as nausea and insomnia.
