Abdominal Therapy For Professionals: Part One
This class teaches tools for your own self care and your clients.

- Abdominal Therapy is a holistic approach to wellness that integrates massage, trauma-informed care, traditional herbal remedies, and spiritual healing practices. While it primarily focuses on the abdomen, back, and pelvis, Abdominal Therapy promotes total body and mind healing. Its goal is to balance and optimise the various systems of the body providing support for reproductive, digestive, and emotional systems.
- This training is split into 2 parts. Part one focuses on your own self care for the anterior, while part two incorporates the posterior part of the the body.
- Part one can be taken as a stand alone training, however, attending part two allows you to fully integrate your knowledge and be able to offer a powerful and complete Abdominal Therapy treatment for your clients.
- Part one combines one online day, and three days in-person intensive training.
- Part two is four days in-person training being held June 7-10, 2024.
- Initially, you’ll attend an online 6hr Introduction Day, and be taught the Abdominal Therapy Collective’s unique ‘Your Abdominal Massage’ for your personal continuing health, as well as how this massage affects digestive and pelvic health. Then, you’ll attend a 3-day in-person class where you’ll learn and experience anterior Abdominal Therapy techniques, and be shown how to offer this work to your clients.
In part one training you will:
- Learn how to perform ‘Your Abdominal Massage’ for self healing
- Learn how to integrate Abdominal Therapy into your practice
- Gain detailed knowledge of structures and functions of the abdomen and pelvis
- Learn specific abdominal massage techniques to support digestive and pelvic organs
- Gain confidence in utilising effective trauma informed care into your practice
- Learn how to use pelvic steaming and castor oil to support pelvic health

Abdominal Therapy For Professionals: Part Two
Continue to build upon your anterior Abdominal Therapy training. Enhance your skills and learn how to integrate a whole-body treatment for your clients.
A pre-requisite for attending this class is the completion of ‘Abdominal Therapy for Professionals: Part 1’ or similar training based upon Rosita Arvigo’s massage techniques
Date: In-Person Training – June 7-10, 2024
Times: 10am – 6pm

- This four day in-person class builds upon the foundations learned in ‘Abdominal Therapy for Professionals: Part One’. Focusing on the posterior aspect of Abdominal Therapy as it integrates the whole body, allowing you to complete a full Abdominal Therapy treatment for your clients.
- The posterior sequence includes working with the lower back, hips, and sacrum. Balancing the pelvis and those organs contained within and gives your clients a greater opportunity to gain and maintain lasting healing.
In Part two you will:
- Review and refine your anterior Abdominal Therapy skills learned in part one training
- Gain detailed knowledge of structures and functions of the back body
- Learn specific massage techniques to support hip, sacrum, and pelvic alignment
- Explore how to integrate and use Abdominal Therapy into your practice
